Beef Mince Tacos Ingredients: Old El Paso Hard Shell Taco Kit 500g of beef mince 1 Tomato diced ¼ Cucumber diced 1 Avocado diced 100g of Lettuce shredded 100g of Cheese grated Method 1.Heat a pan with a little oil on high heat. Once the pan has reached high heat add the mince and break it up. 2.Let the meat sizzle for about 5 minutes. Then add taco spice mix and ½ a cup of water 3.Let it simmer until the sauce thickens, with little water leftover 4.Preheat the oven to 160 degrees fan forced 5.Whilst the meat is cooking dice the tomato, avocado, cucumber. Then shred the lettuce and grate the cheese 6. Remove the taco rapper then place in oven keeping them slightly fanned out 7. Once the tacos are done load them with the other ingredients than enjoy. The dish that I prepared originated from Mexico culture What are some of the most common ingredients from this culture Some of the most common ingredients in the Mexican culture are Chile Peppers, beans, corn, avocado, fats and tomatoes Outline some of the other main foods eaten by this culture Some of the other foods that are eaten by Mexicans are burritos, quesadillas, guacamole, chili con carne, tomato salsa and enchiladas. Outline the connection between food culture and society Food tells us a lot of information about society. A prime representation of this is the relationship between food and social standings. An example of this is the types of food poorer people eat and can afford versus what people with more money can consume on a regular basis.
